Today, April 1, 2026, Abortion Action Missouri’s legislative scorecard for the 2025 legislative session is live! Every year, AAM releases a Reproductive Freedom Scorecard that evaluates and scores lawmakers on their participation in the previous legislative session. From attempts to undermine voter-approved measures to pushing a new abortion ban back onto the ballot, lawmakers spent the 2025 session working against the will of the people they were elected to represent. Missourians Celebrate One Year Since the First Legal Abortion After Voting to End the Ban in 2024 

Today, February 14th 2026 marks the one- year anniversary of legal and available abortion in Missouri following the historic vote of the people to end the ban on abortion and establish rights to Reproductive Freedom. This time last year, the Jackson County Court granted a preliminary injunction to Missouri’s Planned Parenthood affiliates and the ACLU of Missouri, effectively pausing the ban on abortion and number of medically unnecessary restrictions on abortion throughout the implementation trial process. Planned Parenthood Great Plains provided the first in- clinic abortion in Missouri since the U.S. Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022.
