Destigmatizing Abortion Through Television – St. Louis

The media we take in helps fundamentally craft our view of the world, and in our fight for reproductive freedom, it becomes a powerful tool in prompting open dialogue about abortion, reproductive and sexual health.

In this screening and discussion, we’ll be watching several examples of authentic, nuanced abortion stories told through contemporary television followed by a group discussion analyzing our own biases, beliefs, and experiences. We will also be offering advice on how to host your own screening to invite others into these critical conversations as we prepare to defend Missouri abortion rights and stop another abortion ban in 2026.
